Blackboard System Access 3/26-28
The Blackboard system will be down for quarterly maintenance from Wednesday morning March 26 12:50 AM PST to Friday March 28 12 Noon PST. The system will not be returned to service after the nightly backup process (3-26-08). Quarterly maintenance will be performed, security patches and a service pack will be applied. The system may be restored to service earlier, if possible.

The CSUEB Blackboard Support Team is pleased to note that intermittent slow downs that were experienced early in the quarter appear to have been addressed. We have been working closely with the highest level Blackboard support technicians to resolve the problem. The issue was escalated to the highest levels at Blackboard and the system continues to be monitored closely. We have made recommended adjustments and have not experienced any slowdowns or outages since the configuration changes. In addition we are planning for a software upgrade to version 8 for the summer quarter which will improve existing features and capabilities.
